2025 IWWF World Waterski Championships – Recap Day 4

The fourth day of the World Championships in Recetto marked the conclusion of qualifications in Women’s Slalom, Men’s Tricks and Women’s Jump.

In Women’s Slalom, the high standard of competition was confirmed by World Record holder Regina Jaquess (USA) with 2@10.25m and Jaimee Bull (CAN) with 1@10.25m – both advancing to the final.

Women’s Jump delivered spectacular action. Hanna Straltsova (BLR) impressed with a distance of 57.80m, while Jaquess continued her strong performance with 54.90m, keeping her firmly in contention for the Overall title.

In Men’s Tricks, the top provisional score came from Luiss Duplan-Fribourg (FRA), who has been training in Recetto throughout the season and posted 12,450 points.

With favorable weather and a vibrant crowd along the shores, the atmosphere at the lakes was perfect, setting the stage for the decisive days ahead.
