What a day at Recetto!
Day 5 of the IWWF World Waterski Championships treated us to sunshine, a vibrant crowd, and compelling performances on the water.
In Men’s Slalom, Italy celebrated as Thomas Degasperi and Brando Caruso advanced to the final among the very best in the world.
In Men’s Jump, the spotlight went to Ryan Dodd (CAN) and Joel Poland (UK), who both cleared 70.5 m — setting a new lake record and raising the bar in the discipline. Strong performances also came from the Italian team, with Francesco Caldarola posting a personal best of 63.00 m, followed by Florian Parth (63.70 m) and Edoardo Marenzi (62.70 m).
Today, all discipline titles will be decided at Recetto, with award ceremonies scheduled at 18:00 in the presence of leading sports and political institutions.
